Alhamdulillah..dah OK dah :)

If you ask me now whether i understand the true meaning of "..kita merancang tapi Tuhan yg menentukan..", i will definitely say "yes" immediately. Who would ever guess a trip planned, which i mentioned since beginning of year, to be a joyous one turned 360 degrees? But, that's what happened.

I was excited when C & i managed to get the kids in the car to start our journey at 9.30am eventho we're 1 hour late :) The downturn started with me coughing badly throughout the journey. Coupled with heavy traffic at a few points & hot temperature outside, i felt terrible :( 5 hours journey turned to be 7 hours and by the time we reached AOR, i was oredi flat out. But, since "saki baki" excitement nak tengok Icha for the first time, gagahkan jugak la dukung dia + layan the entire family. Mak & Ziela were so excited when we arrived :)

Anyhow, things turned from bad to worse the next day. Bad cough continued. At times it went non-stop for almost 1 hour when it started, coupled with bad phlegm. Everytime the cough went bad, i'll be restless when i managed to stop. Few times, tak perasan boleh terus tertidur. That day, i was also purging and vomiting after i lost my appetite. Felt guilty giler coz i can't even take the kids & nephews out gallivanting coz dok terbaring sini, terbaring sana whenever & wherever sempat :(

The climax of my "tak larat"ness, guilty feelings, etc was on Sat, which also happened to be Fikri's bday. Lucky that Mama & Papa dah siap beli bday present before we went there. Ziela bought him a lovely cake and we celebrated at home. From the look on Fikri's face, i know that he was a bit disappointed when i was unable to join their outing earlier, but i just couldn't help it. Was praying hard that i'll get better to at least have an outing with them before we go back on Sun but my health went downhill further. Batuk tu jangan cerita la, badan lemah lembik & nak bernafas pun susah. At that time, memang dah tak tau nak buat apa bcoz whatever little things C, Mak, D & Ziela tried to help me with seems tak jalan langsung. At abt 2.30am Fri nite/Sat morning, D made up his mind to take me to the hospital whether i agree or not. Of course i agreed at once coz at that time i can't even think straight anymore.

When the Dr told C & i that he suspected that i have bronchitis, together with very high fever + need to be admitted, i didn't realise i was in tears. It was just his suspicion but for a person who never even once been admitted, other than for the 4 deliveries :-D, of coz i was dead scared. I was put on nebuliser immediately. The specialist Dr came abt 3.30am and told me that i will go for x-ray in the morning and be put on oxygen immediately and can request for it at any time i think i have breathing difficulties. When Dr came for his round after my x-ray, he confirmed that i had pneumonia which made me feel angry abt something which i can't mention here. But, i take it as blessings from Allah. If whatever-i-can't-mention-here didn't take place, i will never know that i have lungs infection. Anyhow, i stayed 10 days in KMC and was on drip for 5 days, went through 2 times of x-ray, CT scan of sinus & chest, regular nebuliser, occasional oxygen inhaled, sugar level tests throughout the stay, that is after my KIV for check-out was postponed 3 times. KMC personnel gave me their best services, i must say. But, hospital life is surely something i wouldn't wanna repeat if given the choice.

During the stay, there was only 2 other good memories worth mentioning here. One, C's aunty, uncle & their daughter from Sg Petani came for a visit. We had good time catching up since the last time we met was more than a year ago. And two, one of the days i was in KMC, D suggested to bring the whole family to have dinner in my room on Sat evening. He went to look for fresh fishes with Mak the day prior to that Sat. Bentang tikar, letak nasi + lauk pauk, duduk bersila keliling food, kids berebut nak tambah nasi.. everything was marvelous ;-) We had the best of ikan bakar as main dish and Mak's delicious lepat pisang as dessert.. yum.. yum :) That was the liveliest time in Room 215 :D

When Dr still can't confirm my check out day on Sat, C decided to take kids back to KL on Sun after they missed one week of school :( Even by doing that, C managed to come back to AOR just in time to pick me up when i was finally discharged from the hospital on Mon evening :) Thanx for all your sacrifies for me & kiddos, hon :D

To all frens out there, do look after yourself & family esp when you're aware abt any viral attack. Better be safe than sorry kan :)
