Busy as a bee...

There are so little words linger in my immediate dictionary nowadays which, among others, are either "busy", "pening", "i just wanna quit", "issh mana satu nak buat dulu", "kejap.. nak buat ni dulu..", "rasa macam nak give up" :( I guess there's no one else to blame except for myself who have to do too much thinking. Well, when i accepted some responsibilities, i'll make sure i finish them off jugak coz tak leh nak buat kerja separuh jalan coz i memang tak berkenan when people do that to me so i better not to the same to others. Butttt, i just have too little time to think what to do and which one to do first. Oh well, i'll just have to really practise that "one thing at one time" phrase.

The alumni is coming up with futsal and dinner this weekend and next weekend accordingly. We're still selling table for the dinner. Interested to come to our dinner to watch Anuar Zain performing? Call me or drop a comment here :) Jom la.. jom la.. :D

Anyways, just in case you read this before this Sunday, do go over to Rio De Futsal in Sunway to watch our first ever SBP Invitational Futsal Tourney. Among the teams, which are all ex-SBP students, are 4 teams from MCKK, 4 teams from STAR, 2 teams from SDAR, 2 teams from SAS, about 5 teams from STF, etc. I'll be "berkampung" in Rio for whole day this Sunday.

From AOR to KUL ;)

Ziela and family came back to KL for school holidays. Got a call from Abah Friday afternoon saying that they're oredi on the NSExpressway. With her heavy stomach, she, hubby and kids reached mom's house on Friday evening. My kids were very happy when they got the good news. Yayyyy!!! When i spoke to Ziela on Friday evening, we planned to meet up at mom's on Sunday coz she and hubby oredi planned to go shopping somewhere on Saturday. I'm OK with Sunday bcoz i'm oredi booked for alumni meeting on Saturday afternoon and a belated birthday party for son* of C's cousin. Both meeting and birthday party went well. Kids enjoyed meeting up with some of C's other cousin's kid and uncles + aunties, together with good food and fun toys :)

*Danial turned 1 in October if i'm not mistaken*

Me and hubby went to Amcorp Mall before we proceed to mom's house with the kids. I need to buy groceries when he wants to check out some stuff relating to military at the Fleamarket. He was so happy when he found a pilot jumpersuit at a very cheap price. Rupanya the owner tu ex-KLSE staff :) Nampak gayanya C'll frequent that place after this..

When kids reached mom's house, they're smiling from ear to ear.. seronok la sangat dapat jumpa cousins sekali sekala. Ziela came to me terboyot-boyot with her perut :D Her 3rd son is due early June so we predicted she'll deliver any time in the 3rd or 4th week of May. If her delivery coincides with school holidays, maybe me and C will plan a trip to visit them la pulak. I don't really like travelling coz i can't stand long journey. So, for now will just keep my fingers crossed.

Anyways, as usual, kalau pegi rumah Mak, macam pegi kenduri. That day dia masak rendang udang, kari ikan, sayur campur, ikan bakar + sambal kicap, ikan goreng. We had choc cake and mango for desserts. Memang sedap yang tak terkata. C makan nasi bertambah 3 kali.. Simba pun bertambah nasi sama banyak dengan Papa dia sebab makan kari Pah memang umppphhh :) Before and after lunch kids filled their time watching VCDs back to back. They had shows of Ultraman, Mr Bean, Wallace and Gromit, Zathura and Castello. Also they had session of "crush gears". They only stopped coz battery habis, hehehe. Atuk yang tukang supply battery pun geleng kepala coz battery yang Atuk bagi tu battery baru..

Time to bid goodbye was the hardest for the kids. My nephews were not happy coz they didn't get to play much with my kids. Fikri persuaded Simba to stay overnight at mom's. Simba wanted to but we didn't bring extra clothes. At the end me and C had to promise Fikri and Aiman that Mama and Papa will take all of them out again the next day. At least that promise put a smile on Fikri's face. So, semalam we all pegi round kat Sogo. While me, Ziela and Mak dok sibuk cari baju for the new baby, kids followed the fathers to the toys section :) We parted around 3.30 before the jam sets in. Ialah, tau-tau je la kalau Jalan TAR tu dah jam.. macam tak sampai-sampai rumah dibuatnya.

Ziela, hubby and kids went back to AOR today bcoz she'll give her students extra classes during this school holidays. Hope she'll have a smooth pregnancy for the last few months :)

Happy Friday :)

The gebang session which has been postponed too many times has been cancelled since Mint was not feeling very well :( [Hope Mint is recovering well at home. Sorry for being a bad fren for not going over to visit you Mint.. bukan apa, tak nak you susah-susah kalau we all datang *hugz*] Still I took leave for another reason.. to meet up with some frens who I surely can’t spend my lunch time with for many reasons. With new boss [who my superior refers to as “very particular and punctual”] came in on 1st Mar, I presume my lunch time will strictly be from 1 to 2pm from now on. Oh well, my ex-boss has to head a new department now so new boss take over lor...

I started my day with having breakfast with hubby :) Breakfast with him has becoming a very rare occasion now, unlike those days 10 years back where we normally have breakfast, lunch and dinner together. Those days, our office were abt 5 mins walk apart so memang senang sangat la.. We used to frequent a few shops in Pusat Bandar Damansara, BSC, Damansara Heights since our office were on Jln Semantan and some stalls kat Munshi Abdullah building. But those places pun dah tak de nowadays :?

Anyways, I went to PNB and EPF to see my frens to pass them some GJC car stickers. I had lunch with an ex-classmate I met in EPF. Last I met her was in 2001 I think. She told me that her son is now in Sekolah Tuanku Abd Rahman [STAR] Ipoh. The time she sent him there, questions asked to her made her feel so old coz all the boys called her “makcik” :) After lunch, I rushed to Masjid Jamek to take LRT to University station coz I'm afraid I’ll miss my ride to UM Medical Centre to see my ex-Math teacher, Cik Salmah, who has an appointment there. Janji with my junior for her to pick me up pegi UMMC together. Sampai kat University station, to my horror, she’s not there. Made some calls and one of my frens suggested me to take bus to UMMC. Bus ride to UMMC was OK but bila dah sampai kat UMMC tak tau mana nak pegi la pulak.. Lucky I have a fren, Narima, who’s a nurse there who came to fetch me from where I stood after I mentioned to her “I’m infront of Wad Pergigian” :)

When we finally get ourselves to the surgical clinic, Cik Salmah was oredi in the doctor's room. While waiting for Cik Salmah to come out, we catched up on a lil bit of everything. Cik Salmah finally came out from doctor's room about 15 mins after that. When i first saw Cik Salmah's face, i really felt like crying coz she still look the same like 20 years ago. Of course now she looks quite old as she'll turn 55 this year.. but that's the face i remembered from my school days :) Me and Cik Salmah catched up on a few things such as her relationship with the students in STF after i left, her promotion which made her left STF, her mom and sibblings, her condition after her surgery, etc. I'm not surprise when she said she can still remember some of my ex-batchmates when i mentioned names to her. She said "ada yang saya ingat rupa.. ada yang ingat nama je.." :) I spent almost 3 hours with her there. I decided to stay by her side after she mentioned that her right hand is not that strong anymore. Me and frens bought her some goodies which I think is quite heavy for her to carry. Anyhow, I treasured the time I spent with her and I feel closer to her than before. Dulu masa sekolah mana la dapat nak berbaik-baik sangat dengan cikgu so bila dapat opportunity cam gini, I felt so honoured. Me and Laila persuaded her to attend our 1st April dinner bcoz she'll come over to KL for another check up on 5th April. She's kinda keen as long as there's somebody to fetch her from Kajang. Maybe me and Laila can work on it to make it a reality.

I left UMMC around 5.30pm after I followed her to 7U where her sister is warded. I made a promise to myself to stay in touch with her :)

Edited on 6th March

4th of March was my mom's birthday. Mak turned 57 but still look pretty as if she's only 45 :) Bought blueberry cake for her as kids were so excited to celebrate Opah's birthday.

To Mak, hope you'll be under Allah's blessings all the time :) Thanx for your tender loving care you've poured on me over the years.
