Cookies, anyone?

This purplish cookies is named "Alpine" [hehehe CK, you need to tell how it taste coz i haven't taste them myself]

CK says: Our top favourite among the cookies (Y just couldn't have enuf of 'em, unfortunately we got only four or five pieces, I think (tak sure pasal "ngap" cepat sangat!), hehe, so I think definitely I will order a couple of "balangs" or boxes from Rose just to satisfy our craving for this gem of a cookie! It melts in the mouth, the cookie, altho soft and crumbly, is just nice, not too sweet and not too rich, but creamy and buttery...argh, I don't really know how to describe it, hehe, is it enuf to say that it is the best of the lot, Rose? :)

Delicious and crispy "Choc Mint" will tempt chocolate lover to keep on munching this cookies without you realizing it's already the last piece :-) Maybe those who's sceptical upon hearing the word "mint", afraid that the cookies will taste like toothpaste, worry not as the mint taste is very minimal.

"Caramel Oat" is a crunchy yet healthy kinda cookies for those who watches each calories of what they eat. The well-mixed of caramel, oat, sesame seeds and almond is glazed with white and dark chocolate to give it the expensive look.

The sourish lemon taste of this "Lemon Fingers" is the melt in your mouth kinda. The buttery dough is not too heavy for anyone's intake and the sour taste from lemon completes the cookies. It has the "semperit" look but i personally think this is better, hehehe.

CK nak menyibuk here says: This is second on our list of favourites! Buttery, lemony and you're right Rose, it does melt in the mouth. Just can't get enuf of 'em (note to self: must order more from Rose, hehe)

At the first bite, you'll never know that you'll be surprised by the ginger taste. You need to keep on biting and when half of that piece has gone into your mouth, that's when your surprise taste will come out. We commercialised the name as "Crystal Ginger" as the ingredients include crystalised ginger besides almond.

Sweet and sour cookies for you? This butter based cookies of "Cheri Mon" has the taste of sweet from the white chocolate glaze and almonds, sour from that triangle shape of "asam bulat" [hehehe, i forgot what's the name of that asam.. so help please :)].

Will you imagine of Venice if i say that the cookies is named "Venice"? It has that buttery taste complete with chocolate and grounded almonds which taste delicious. [CK, help me to describe more of this cookies please...]

CK says: Ish, no need for extra description as you already wrote what's good about 'em, eg. buttery and delicious, heh. This is third in our list of favourites! Goes very well with a cuppa hot tea or coffee, I tell ya! :)

A simple name of this rocky "Biskut Kuaci" becoz the ingredients contain 3 types of sunflower seeds, nestum and raisins. For those who don't like the raisin, you can let me know that you want it without raisin. The look may not be there but taste is awesome as it's crunchy and healthy :D

These delicious cookies [except for Biskut Kuaci] are available in square pack of 27 pieces at the price of RM15 and round container of 45 pieces at RM24. As for the "Biskut Kuaci", it's available in canister of about 60 pieces for the price of RM26.

Sample of "Crystal Ginger" cookies in a square pack.

Stories of Myiesha :)

Kamilia Myiesha gets more mischevious by the day :) She's also very manja.. and she enjoys short chuddlings [don't try to chuddle her too long.. she doesn't like it]. She also loves to eat whatever she thinks is nice.. biscuits, chocolates, fried fishballs [or sotongballs], fried tempe, seaweed, kerepek pedas, keropok, cakes, ice cream.. anything at all as long as it looks interesting.

Last time she used to cry whenever a stranger pick her up and carry her. But now she kinda adjust herself a lil bit. She may not let a stranger carries her but at least her crying stopped.. unless she really doesn't like the stranger. hmmm...

At the age of 1 year 8 months, she already has 9 teeth.. 4 front upper teeth, 1 molar upper tooth, 3 front lower teeth and 1 molar lower tooth. Hmm.. whenever she smiles, she looks so sweet :) Wished i can put up some pix on the kids here, hehehe.

Anyways, i really can't wait for the days for me to go out with her, like what i've done with the other 3. I'm sure we'll have a FUN time together.. going in and out of shops doing some window shopping together :-D

Meeting with Angel Eyes Babe..

Been communicating with Sheryl thru forum and fone abt her training in KL. So, we plan to meet for lunch on Monday, 8/8. Been convincing KC to meet us for lunch too. But since distance and workload are the hurdles for KC, i met Sheryl alone at Coffee Bean Sg Wang. [But KC met her in a separate session later that Monday] Saw her standing prettily near CB the time i reached there. I was late at that time so kelam kabut with 2 bags of cookies, 1 bag in each hand. While we're proceeding to order, Sheryl got THAT call to say that she need to come again for second audition. Congrats!! Really hope she'll proceed to the next round.. and to final :)

Wanna say something abt the bags of cookies. 1 is for CK and the other for Sheryl. In CK's bag, i put a box of mixed cookies [6 types altogether namely Alpine, Cheri Mon, Choc Mint, Caramel Oat, Lemon Fingers and Vanice], a box of Caramel Oat, a box of Choc Mint, a box of Crystal Ginger and a canister of biskut kuaci [sunflower seeds cookies]. In Sheryl's bag, i put a box of Choc Mint and a small canister of biskut kuaci. Sorry CK as i can't give you more than what i put bcoz i don't have a small sqaure box to put in those tarts for you. And to Sheryl, sorry too coz i don't have anymore cookies in my stock.

Anyhow CK, i need a BIG favor from you. Can you pls take pictures of those cookies and put them up in this blog somewhere? Think this blog needs some color, hehehe.

Back to the story on meeting Sheryl. Just wished we had more time to catch up on other stories actually. The last time we met was a few months ago when she came to KL for a training also. At that time we had a heavy lunch in Seeds Cafe Sg Wang. After we both finished our plate of green chicken noodles, we both can't get up. The meal was very good in a huge plate and the serving was big. I guess Sheryl takut she didn't get to go back for the training if she overly kenyang, she opted for just a drink in CB :-) But still, a glass of sinful Belgian Chocolate Latte made us happy.

Also, we met again on Tuesday bcoz i forgot to give Sheryl The Edge mag CK asked for. Okay gak jumpa dia again as i got to meet Amir Etc. We all had lunch in a restaurant across from Swiss Garden eventho at first Sheryl didn't wanna eat. I brought some Hazelnut Mocha cookies for Sheryl. Sheryl kata sedap eventho rupa tak de, hehehe. We parted at abt 1.45 coz Sheryl had to go back to the training.

Sheryl, i had a GREAT time catching up with you. Thanx for the lovely mooncakes. Me and kids had the Green Tea and Red Bean flavors. We have another 2 cakes to go but i don't think i can eat another bite coz the mooncakes are very rich. The kids love them too. At the time i came back with the bag i told them "Ni Aunty Sheryl bagi" and Tihani went "Ooo, bestnya Aunty Sheryl bagi mooncake" while Mohsin said "Ma, nak makan cake moon" Thanx again Sheryl for everything *hugz and mwahs*

Haven't been blogging for soooo longggg..

I never realised that time flies really fast :( I've been very busy in the ofis with new project going on. The project is on a new system to replace the current one. My previous boss, who left on VSS, fought so hard for the enhancement project but got turned down dunno how many million times due to many reasons which i think it's a waste of time and space if i want to list them down. So, when my current boss managed to convince some upstairs people that we really need to replace or enhance the system and they approved the budget, we really have to take it seriously by putting our all on this project eventho there are still lotsa hiccups along the way. We're done with user requirements stage and the consultants are into data migration/copying stage for the user acceptance test. We really hope we'll get to see the new system up and running before 1st quarter 2006 ends.

Apart from that i've been busy with my gift and hamper business too. Me and partner are busy trying to penetrate some companies. We made a lot of calls, set up appointments, gave out samples, took pictures for intended booklet, testing new cookies. Recently we took up a booth for 2 days in Menara Rebung [Telekom HQ] just to expose our cookies to new market with the hope of getting new customers. Small or big, company or individual are still customers. Also we'll never know when satisfied customer[s] can do wonders :D

Let's talk a lil bit about the cookies we can offer at the moment. We have finger-lickin' Chocolate Mint, healthy Caramel Oat, melt-in-your-mouth pineapple tarts, sweet + a lil bit of soury taste of Cheri Mon, slight lemony taste Lemon Fingers, delicious Venice, once-eat-can't-stop Nutty Oat, purplish Alpine, yummy Crystal Ginger and rocky Choc Strawberry Chip. Besides, we also have very rich homemade fruit cake, chocolate mint cake and carrot walnut cake to offer too :) Eventho some people commented that our cookies are on the expensive side but i think tasting is believing. Guess i'll need to put up some pix here so that you guys can at least visualise how the cookies look like so that you can imagine the taste, hehehe.

So, cookies anyone? :)
