Ramadhan & Syawal :)

Just imagine this.. I could have been in Paris since Sunday morning if that somebody didn't cancel my name from the list. Of course at first i was frustrated but i know it's fated for me not to go. Frustration being put aside, i take it as not my rezeki. I'm quite sure i will end up spending money which i don't have. Sure rambang mata kalau dah di sana.. takkan nak tengok je barang dan tak beli satu pun kan.. kan.. kan.. Paris la katakan :) So, C & i have started dreaming to go to Paris one day :) It's just a matter of when.. Maybe when the kids are able to take care of themselves if we're to go without them, hehe. Tak salah berangan kan..

Anyhow, i've been crazy eating fruit jelly, served chill with evaporated milk. I've been making that for 3 weekends and have been eating that with kids, esp Faie & Milia, everyday (selagi stock masih ada..) whenever i got home. On Sunday when C sent Mak & Tok (my grandma) to KKgsar, i gave Mak one container of fruit jelly because she asked me to make some for her to eat. Little that i know the jelly travelled further to AOR. I haven't ask either Mak or Ziela their feedback so i don't know whether they enjoyed it as much as i do or not. Maybe i'm not going to make anymore this weekend. Takut jemu je, hehe..

Raya is approaching fast since we're at the end of Ramadhan oredi. C & i still haven't know what exactly to cook. We may have kuah kacang & nasi impit and daging goreng sate. The rest of the menu will be at MIL's as we'll be celebrating first day Raya at MIL's house. Heard Ibu will cook her yummylicious sambal tumis, lontong/ketupat with kuah lodeh and daging masak kicap :) After we're done with bermaafan at MIL's house, we will gather with the rest of MIL's sibblings in Kg Pandan before we make our move to visit the relatives in Kg Baru and Ampang. Of course visiting from one house to another will be tiring. But, when we move in a HUGE group of sibblings, children, cousins nephews and nieces, it's FUN :D Rumah wajib will be Wak Ruby's, Wak Miah's, Wak Asip's, Nyai Busu's, Nyai Mok's, Wak Biah's... I like this tradition. Another of MIL's sibblings' tradition is they'll stay in their house on the second day to allow the elders with their entourage to counter-visit :)

For this Raya, i would like to ask for apologies from all for all my wrongdoings and sayings, whether unintentionally or not. Yang termakan terminum, terlebih terkurang, mintak halalkan. Hope this Raya will bring more barakah, joy, happiness and prosper to us :)

Chicken pox attack :(

Milia had it last 2 weeks and is still recovering from it. Of course it's drying up but people say, this is the crucial time as it's spreading time :( Hopefully she'll recover fully soon. Also hopefully, she'll not have any scar..

Faie got it last Friday and we told her not to go to school. I think she was not happy becoz she can't see her frens. But, we just don't want her frens to get it too. Hers are abt less than 50 dots if you really wanna counts those red dots. We think hers milder than Milia's bcoz she took the vaccination 2 or 3 years ago. We hope she'll recover any time this week so that she can go to school next week. If she's OK, she'll get to sit for her kindy's assessment test next week so no need for the kindy to arrange another for her after Raya.

Mohsin had some visible red dots when he was ready for school this morning :( Since he's not having fever, we let him go to school. But, when we're still on the way to my ofis, Mohsin's teacher called asking C to collect him from kindy. She's concern abt the other kids, don't want Mohsin spread the virus as it's only less than 2 weeks to Raya. If anak depa kena pulak, alamat tak raya la coz normally it'll take 2 weeks to fully recovered.

Simba is still going strong and i hope he'll not get infected. He has his final exam from today till Thu. I hope & pray his immune system is tough enuf to fight the virus :)
