i don't know why but i like the sound of it when people say it out eventho when you elaborate it people may think that you mean it. if people think you mean it, people will think that you're selfish. but, why worry abt what other people think.. it's just a phrase :)

Raya oh Raya..

Raya has been good so far.. minus the tiredness from preparing, travelling and visiting. As planned, we took Mak balik Kuala Kangsar after sembahyang Raya & singgah sekejap at MIL's. MIL live in the same neighborhood so memang patut pegi rumah dia dulu before jalan ke mana-mana. Situation is the same every year eversince we moved to KJ. Sembahyang Raya kat masjid belakang rumah, pegi rumah MIL for bermaaf-maafan session + makan2 sikit.. lepas tu baru pegi rumah Mak. I had my fair share then when lepas sembahyang Raya we all pegi rumah Mak & Abah dulu.. lepas tu baru ke rumah MIL.. so memang tak payah nak ambik nombor or bertekak on "nak raya kat mana dulu". Selagi our parents duduk at the same places, giliran raya will be status quo, hehehe.

We reached KK at abt 2.30pm. Seronok sesangat bila sampai kat kg coz penuh rumah Tok with my aunties, uncles and cousins. Almost everyone was there except for my uncle & family who lives in Nepal, and another auntie & family who's in Sg Siput. Tok anak-beranak decided to cook nasi minyak complete with lauk pauk. Terasa macam balik for kenduri la pulak :) As ramai gak my cousins yang masih kecik, my 4 diamonds had great time main with their aunties and uncles. They're later joined by Fikri and Aiman. The adults nak bersembang pun tak berapa dengar dek hiruk pikuk kanak2. But, seeing the kids having so much fun is such a blisssss :D

Trip to KK was a day trip due to my "pemalasness" of staying overnight anywhere whenever we have the choice. So, we made express visits to few houses namely my auntie yang duduk sebelah rumah Tok, my grand auntie yang duduk seberang jalan dari rumah Tok, my uncle (abang Abah) and my auntie (kakak Abah). Memang teringin nak pegi banyak rumah tapi disebabkan hujan yang turun dengan lebatnya dalam pukul 4 gitu, we had extended visting time when we reached one place. We left for KL at almost midnite. Kesian C penat driving sorang-sorang. Mak chose to stay in KK so that she can spend more time with Tok and her sibblings as she hasn't been going anywhere for the past 4 and 1/2 months. After spending time in KK, she'll spend some time in AOR with Ziela & family.

Raya in KL began with MIL's place. First day dah pegi, 2nd day pegi lagi. I think that shows how we love spending time at MIL's, esp the kids. Given the choice, hari2 kiddos nak pegi rumah Embah. The only thing they are still not happy from the start of Raya when they're at Embah's is the fact that they only got to imagine going in the pool. It's been raining almost every evening since 1st Syawal so swimming is out of the question. Prolly they'll only get to do it during the coming long school holidays. By Sat 28th, we went to all MIL's sibblings' houses. Mission accomplished, hehehe. Managed to attend a few open houses and that was a bonus. One of the houses was Mint's. While me & C were busy savouring Mint's mom's mee rebus SG yang sangatttttt sedap, Mint la tolong melayan Faie, Mohsin & Milia. Kids had jolly food time coz Aunty Mint sangat pandai melayan :) Faie keep on talking and asking me abt Sara & Jannah + their lovely toys ;-) Thanx Mint & K for the great hospitality :D

Raya kali ni tak ambik gambar pun. Lamest excuses are; camera tak de battery, and camera tinggal dalam kereta so malas nak ambik. Maybe i'll take some pix of kiddos when we go for Faie's kindy concert this Sun, 12th. Faie is so good in keeping silence when we asked her whether she's taking part in any performance or not. All she uttered was "entahla.. kakak pun tak tau.." But her teacher told C that Faie will take part in 2 performances. I wonder what they are.. hmmmmm.. My guess we'll only find out when we attend the do at Wet World Shah Alam this Sun :)
